Silvertips Family Coaches Message

February 3, 2017

It is with heavy hearts the Silvertips family enters the 2017 season with the loss of Jordan McKinnon.  Jordan's memory and spirit will live on through our team.  On a personal note, Jordan was one of my all-time favourite players.  We will all miss him greatly and I know he’ll be cheering on his teammates this season.

I am excited to have the opportunity to again be part of the Silvertips family in 2017.   This season is shaping up to be our best year yet.  The addition of Ryan McBride to our coaching staff will be a tremendous boost to our program and players.  Ryan’s ability to teach the game of lacrosse at a very high level and his knowledge of the goaltending position is something the organization has never had until now.

The Silvertips family has made significant gains both on and off the floor, taking big steps forward over the past few seasons.  The tireless work of our management group, strong parent support and character group of players is the core of our growing program.  I fully anticipate and expect the Silvertips to compete for a provincial championship in 2017.

Our program is focused on developing well rounded, community oriented lacrosse players so that they can achieve the highest level of lacrosse they wish to pursue.  The Silvertips are proud of the number and quality of players that have moved on to play junior A and/or earn NCAA scholarships.

The coaching staff and management group is committed to providing a challenging, competitive and rewarding team based environment.

Sincerely,

Cam Foss
